Bettles Air Service

Bettles Air 185

Bettles Air provides flights from Fairbanks to Bettles and statewide aircraft charters. Our Bettles base specializes in remote travel throughout the Brooks Range. Bettles Air Service started with one airplane and one pilot: Dan Klaes and his Cessna 185. The Skywagon Cessna 185 that Dan purchased was also the family vehicle to go to and from Fairbanks for groceries. Since then the Air Service has expanded into operating a twin engine Piper Navajo Chieftain, De Havilland Beaver, Cessna 206 and Cessna 185. With an impeccable record for safety and business integrity, Bettles Air has the reputation that continues to grow the client base and company year after year.
