Bush Bash

Bettles Bush BashBettles Lodge has hosted many an event with live music over the years. We are happy to announce another gathering which is long overdue. Fly above the Arctic Circle and over the Yukon River to the foothills of the Brooks Mountain Range. Enjoy talented local Alaskan musicians Sweating Honey and Cold Country .. not to mention fun contests, good food, cold beer, great company and rural Alaskan ambiance.

Friday:

6.00 PM – 8:00 PM Dinner Served

Saturday Events :

8:00AM – 10:00 AM Breakfast served

11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Lunch served

3.00 PM – Contests to include PIE eating

4:00 PM – Live Music

5:00 PM – Contests to include *Flying Flour bomb/ Teams of 2

*hit the target with a bag of flour from a moving aircraft. This is a partner game and must be done with two participants.. one flying and one tossing the flour.

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Dinner Served

Av- Gas coupons offered for those who have wings. Round-trip ticket deals via Bettles Air & Bettles Lodge OR drive up the haul road with your friends for a quick flight over to Bettles at a good price. Camp out for free with use of the showers/bathrooms and meals included in the pricing OR stay with us in the bunk house or Lodge. Package deals at the event are as follows :

Dalton Highway Road Trip :

Drive 4 hours north of Fairbanks to Prospect Creek. Park in the secured lot at pump station number 5 for the weekend. Bettles Air will pick you up with our Cessna 206 on wheels or Navajo Chieftain depending on how many are in your group. Prices based on 4 people, please contact for more accurate charter quotes.

Dalton Highway Road Trip and River Trip Combo:

Drive the beautiful Dalton Highway 5 hours North of Fairbanks to Coldfoot, throw your raft in the Koyukuk River. Leisurly float down to Bettles in 3 to 4 days. Arrive at the Festival Friday – charter Bettles Air back to your vehicle when the party ends on Sunday.
